Food Security and Livelihoods

Nasaem is advancing food security by helping families and individuals meet their need for a reliable source of quality food and sufficient resources to produce or purchase it. This, in turn, supports stability and prosperity. By addressing the root causes of hunger, Nasaem is increasing economic opportunity .and growth among vulnerable communities

Over the last ten years, Nasaem has been listening to the affected population's needs and adopted a holistic approach to service provision to ensure complementarity of services, projects, and sectors. Based on that, Nasaem has distributed an enormous number of food baskets, nutritional and supplementary food items, cooked meals and Ready to Eat rations (RTEs) to hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries alongside providing agriculture inputs for farmers greatly affected by war, displacement, natural disaster and conflict. Nasaem has supported wheat flour to bakeries and a fresh bread packs to those who need it most in multiple areas in the north west Syria.
